Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current NY RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN with BSN progression acceptable.
• BCLS, NRP, ACLS and PALS certifications required or in scope.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using nursing process within the Mount Sinai model.
• Assesses needs, applies critical thinking, and plans care with team.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and transitions.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care.
• Performs charge duties and ensures safe, cost-effective care.
