Oncology 6 RP Unit Overview

The Oncology 6 RP Unit is a 36-bed inpatient Intermediate Care Unit dedicated to caring for patients with cancer. Nurses on this unit provide compassionate, specialized care while monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, delivering chemotherapy and other treatments, and supporting patients through complex care needs. Care provided on this unit includes chemotherapy, hospice, radiation, stem cell transplant/CAR‑T, radioactive iodine, and symptom management.

Vascular 9 K Unit Overview

On 9 Kaufman, you’ll care for a diverse patient population and gain hands‑on experience with complex vascular procedures such as aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgeries, and amputations. The unit also serves as an extension of our renal/pancreas transplant program, partnering closely with the outpatient transplant center to support patients through critical stages of care. Every bed is monitored, giving nurses the opportunity to strengthen telemetry skills while expanding their expertise in surgical specialty and transplant nursing.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required, graduate degree preferred.
• One year of Management experience required
• Two years experience in a support leadership RN position, i.e. Unit Coordinator, Team Lead, or other like position may be accepted in lieu of 1 year formal management experience.

Certification/Licensure Requirements

• Registered Nurse license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire

Experience Requirements

• Three years of RN experience required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $121,555.20 - $181,376.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
