Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client based in Roscommon are recruiting a Senior Staff Nurse / Clinical Nurse Manager for a busy 63 nursing home in Co Roscommon, commutable from Leitrim, parts of Sligo and Mayo. The CNM supports the PIC in leading nursing home operations with high standards of resident care, aligned with best practice and regulations.

The role requires strong clinical leadership, governance, and a commitment to person-centred care.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with a third-level nursing degree and active NMBI PIN.
Up-to-date training in Infection Control, Moving & Handling, Medication Management, CPR, Dementia Care, and Safeguarding.
Post-registration qualification in healthcare management (or willingness to complete).
Qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Act as PIC in their absence in line with the Health Act 2007, regulations, and HIQA standards.
Support the PIC in the overall management and daily operations of the nursing home.
Provide strong clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff to maintain high care standards and team morale.
Maintain a caring, respectful, and person-centred environment that meets residents' needs.
Build relationships with residents based on dignity, equality, and respect.
Promote safeguarding practices and respond to concerns or incidents.
Work day, night, and weekend shifts as required
