Qualifications

• Uses common sense and professional nursing skills to care for patients.
• Current in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and team members.
• Maintains accurate documentation per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Clinical practice and patient care; performs nursing assessments and develops care plans.
• Administers medications and treatments safely per physician orders.
• Monitors patient responses and updates the plan of care accordingly.
• Provides pre- and post-operative care including wound care and pain management.
• Educates patients and families about diagnoses, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Works with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and participate in rounds.
