Decatur Morgan Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead the healthcare team by building authentic relationships with patients and families, collaborating with physicians and staff to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans that promote health or support a peaceful death. The RN uses evidence-based practice and compassion to guide patients through their health journeys.

The incumbent accepts responsibility for management and provision of care in alignment with current

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Possesses a nursing license in good standing in the State of Alabama.
• Current in BLS.

Responsabilités

• Clinical Practice and Patient Care: perform initial and ongoing nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to hospital policy.
• Monitor patient responses and update the plan of care; provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Educate patients and families, advocate for patient preferences, safety and dignity.
• Coordinate care with physicians, case managers and the interdisciplinary team; ensure accurate documentation in the EHR.
