Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeks a Nurse Clinical Leader to provide leadership and clinical expertise during shifts and within the department. This role combines bedside RN care with line management, including scheduling, staff development, and performance reviews to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Required are an active RN license, BLS, and a BSN within four years of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN within four years of hire/promotion unless an education agreement exists.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical expertise during shift and department.
• Lead change, scheduling, staff competency maintenance, orientation, and annual performance reviews.
• Ensure staffing levels match census and acuities; supervise scheduling and time-off approvals.
• Support professional governance and provide clinical support to staff.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing process and Interdisciplinary coordination.
