Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for the Duke Triangle Urology clinic in Durham, NC. You will be integral to the healthcare team, delivering direct and indirect patient care and coordinating clinic operations.

Responsibilities include telephone triage, MyChart message management, and mentoring staff. A BSN or higher is preferred, with NC RN licensure and BLS required, plus at least 12 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina (or compact) with BLS.
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience.
• All RN without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within two years and complete it within seven years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Duke Triangle Urology clinic.
• Perform telephone triage and manage MyChart messages.
• Assist other nursing staff and serve as charge nurse for a unit as assigned.
• Monitor the environment of care and maintain equipment and materials.
• Support staff development as a preceptor and mentor learners.
• Identify opportunities for clinical or operational performance improvement.
