Job summary

UNC Health Nash is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting. You will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process to support patient outcomes.

The role requires graduation from a school of professional nursing, NC RN license, and BLS for Healthcare Providers, with at least one year of nursing experience. Work is onsite, 36 hours per week, daylight shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Education - Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
• Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes and contributes to plan of care.
• Implementation - Delivers nursing care for patients with complex needs and prioritizes care.
• Leadership - Supports unit goals and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Patient Assessment - Assesses needs and anticipates discharge planning.
• Planning - Collaborates with patient/family to update the plan of care.
• Research - Engages with current literature to inform practice.
