UNC Health in Eden, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in a hospital setting, coordinating patient care via the nursing process. Per Diem night shift with onsite work and a focus on education, evaluation, implementation, leadership, and patient planning.

The role requires RN licensure in NC, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience; graduation from a school of professional nursing is required. Salary is paid hourly within a defined range.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Education: identify learning needs and provide patient education.
• Evaluation of care: participate in evaluation of patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Implementation: provide care for patients with complex needs; perform bedside point-of-care testing; follow policies and procedures.
• Leadership: assist in setting goals and collaborating across units; promote cost-effective care.
• Patient assessment: identify priorities from data; plan for discharge needs.
• Planning: collaborate with patient/family to update the plan of care; address cultural factors.
• Research: review journals for applicable care practices.
