Job summary

Nash UNC Health Care is hiring a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in a home health setting. You will report to the Nurse Manager/Director and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, with a focus on learning needs and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The role requires NC RN licensure and 1 year of nursing experience with acute/chronic care, in a full-time night shift schedule. Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 for 4 years is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• One (1) year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager/Director to coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a home health setting.
• Participates in education programs and meets learning needs; assesses readiness to learn for patient/family.
