Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide competent care in a hospital setting, coordinating with the care team and using the nursing process. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for diverse populations.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, NC RN licensure, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience. This is a full-time, onsite role with a 36-hour week and relocation incentives may apply based on

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting following professional standards.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and nursing leadership initiatives.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and prioritization of care for patients with complex needs.
