Cone Health Medical Group in Greensboro, NC seeks a Registered Nurse Dialysis Staff to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing dialysis. You will monitor patients during procedures, manage fluids and medications, and educate patients and families about dialysis and self-care.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and NC or Compact-state RN licensure. BSN is preferred, with at least 2 years of RN experience including a clinical specialty in dialysis.

Qualificações

Essential Job Function

• Monitors and assesses patients' vital signs and overall condition during dialysis sessions to ensure safe and effective treatment.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments, including heparin administration and fluid management, to patients undergoing dialysis.
• Operates and maintains dialysis equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness for each session.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to patients' specific needs.
• Educates patients and their families about the dialysis process, self-care techniques, and dietary restrictions to promote optimal outcomes and quality of life.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Experience

• Required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.

Licensure/Certification/Listing

• Required: Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
