Qualifications

• MSN (or) DNP (or) PhD required.
• Current certification required or to be attained within two-year period from date of hire.
• Current nursing licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Minimum two years of clinical experience as a clinical nurse with demonstrated evidence of leadership progression.
• Demonstrated evidence of competent nursing practice in clinical area or specialty.
• Competency in adult learning principles and a sound clinical nursing knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Orientation, Training and Professional Development: assist with central classes, identify learning needs, mentor others, and track orientation progress.
• Consultation/Collaboration: provide informal consultation, participate in committees, develop policies with teams.
• Direct Patient Care: provide direct care, model expert care, support staff with critical thinking and decision making.
• Quality / Research: participate in quality initiatives, support regulatory preparation and learning, develop responsive programs.
