Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Support role in nursing education and development to assist in orientation, competency programs, in-service training, and ongoing education for healthcare staff. The position focuses on academic partnerships, career development, and smooth role transitions at the unit level to enhance patient care.

The role requires active nursing licensure, BLS certification, and relevant clinical experience, with a preference for teaching exposure and familiarity with education

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in state and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Or 5 years hospital nursing with an Associate's degree.
• RN to BSN program enrollment required or in progress.

Support role in nursing education and development

This position is responsible for supporting orientation, competency programs, in-service and continuing education, academic partnerships, career development, and role transition at the unit level for healthcare staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience with a Bachelor's degree or 5 years' hospital nursing experience with an Associate's degree, or 10 years' experience if no degree, with active enrollment in an RN to BSN program.
• Current appropriate state license and BLS provider certification.
• Strong clinical knowledge based on evidence-based practice and ability to positively influence patient care.
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills to meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; audiovisual equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with equipment and technology used in patient care delivery.

Preferred qualifications include

• Certification or progress toward certification in a relevant specialty.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Additional life support certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, among others.
