MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking an experienced Pre and Post Operative Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Division of Nursing. This role shapes nursing practice and elevates patient care through evidence-based education and professional development.
The Clinical Nurse Educator provides educational leadership, advancing clinical competency and supporting certification across Preoperative, PACU, and Post Procedural units on Georgetown's campus. Schedule: Monday–Friday Days.
Qualifikationen
- NLN accredited School of Nursing graduate required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Master's in Nursing Education or related field preferred.
- Active DC RN license and BLS required.
- Certification: CNE within 1 year.
Aufgaben
- Mentor, coach, and role model for nursing staff.
- Assess learning needs and design education programs.
- Support certification and professional development, including fellowships.
- Lead quality improvement, nursing research, and performance initiatives.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary and academic partners.
- Promote shared governance through councils and system initiatives.
