VA NY Harbor Healthcare System seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to deliver evidence-based education to nursing staff across clinical and outpatient units. You will design and implement learning plans, coordinate staff education, and support residency and competency initiatives.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing curricula, and serving as a Redi/BLS instructor to ensure high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Current, full, active nursing licensure and eligibility for VA appointment.
• BSN with experience or MSN with nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and evidence-based practice.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers education and training to nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units.
• Assesses educational needs and develops learning plans and curricula.
• Coordinates staff education and supports nurse residency and competency programs.
• Acts as trainer for Resuscitation Education Initiative (Redi) and BLS instructor.

Educación

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Diploma in Nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)

State licensure in nursing
