Job summary

Spalding Rehabilitation - part of Presbyterian St.Luke's Rehab, is hiring an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions across shifts.

The CNC collaborates with management to monitor nursing care, supports staff development, and drives engagement through nursing strategies. The role requires RN licensure in Colorado, BCLS, and 6 months of Rehab/Ortho/Neuro/TCU experience with broader medical-surgical exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• RN Colorado DORA or multistate license.
• Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• RN experience of 6 months minimum in Rehabilitation, Ortho, Neuro, or TCU preferred; 1-3 years medical-surgical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services in the unit with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to support teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery as needed.
• Implements nursing strategies to improve engagement, e.g., hourly rounds and staff initiatives.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, training staff, and performance evaluations.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
