Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing care on a designated shift, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered service and collaboration with the management team to monitor, direct, and evaluate care in line with policies.

You will mentor staff, participate in scheduling, staffing, training, and process improvements, support performance evaluations, and help maintain inventory and supply management while upholding our mission to

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas or Nurse Compact; must obtain TX license if on multi-state license
• 1 year of nursing experience
• RN Diploma, BSN, or AD nursing degree required
• BLS/ACLS required within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient care.
• Directs, monitors and evaluates nursing care per policies/procedures.
• Collaborates with management to promote teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Provides staff coaching, interviewing, hiring recommendations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and equipment supplies management.
• Promotes patient-first philosophy and service recovery initiatives
