Job summary

Methodist Hospital Landmark in San Antonio seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Surg Tele to ensure high-quality patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions during shifts. You will work with leadership to direct nursing care, mentor staff, and reinforce clinical outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include admissions/discharges, staffing, training, and process improvements, with a focus on patient safety and throughput in a fast-paced surgical telemetry setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Texas or multi-state compact license.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• RN Diploma, BSN, or ASN.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to support throughput and quality.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support interviewing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and productivity guidelines.
• Monitor inventory and supplies management.
