Job summary

St. David's Georgetown Hospital in Georgetown, TX, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high-quality patient-centered care and coordinate unit activities across shifts.

You will lead nursing staff, monitor care delivery, and collaborate with managers to improve outcomes. The CNC will handle admissions/discharges, staff scheduling, training, and inventory management, while upholding safety standards and service excellence.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ENPC must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates nursing strategies (e.g., rounds) to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Assists with interviewing, selecting and training new staff and oversees performance evaluations.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Assists with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
