Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Emergency Room

Location: Hermitage, TN

Pay Range: $34.24 – $45.75 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Rotating Weekends

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (for candidates relocating more than 50 miles)

Position Overview

Join our Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center that serves up to 166 patients daily. We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room nurse ready to grow into a leadership role. As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will help lead a skilled and compassionate team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all unit functions during assigned shifts
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition changes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, evaluate, and adjust care plans
• Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining overall accountability for patient care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care process
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards

• Trauma Level: III
• Unit Size: 22 beds
• Daily Patient Volume: Up to 166
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  
  

Licensure:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State
  
  

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Within 1 year of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Within 1 year of hire
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) – Within 6 months of hire
  
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 2–3 years in Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift)
• Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift)
• Trauma experience preferred
