Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Burn Unit to deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all functions of the unit.

In partnership with management, the CNC monitors nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, supports a superior patient experience, and coaches staff to improve performance. RN license, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year RN acute care experience required.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license (RN)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 year RN acute care experience in the designated unit

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree

No Travel Required
