Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Burn Unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all unit functions. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors nursing care in accordance with policies and serves as a resource for staff to support an exceptional patient experience.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist with admissions and discharges, coach staff, and help with scheduling.

Qualifications

• RN with acute care experience, 1 year in designated unit required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership and subject matter experts.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
