Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Kansas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across shifts. You will guide the nursing team, coordinate admissions and discharges, and partner with leadership to monitor care quality and outcomes.

The CNC collaborates with specialists to foster teamwork, supports patient-first initiatives, and helps implement nursing strategies that improve engagement and service.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN).
• Registered Nurse.
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree.
• No Travel Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, with management collaboration.
• Collaborates with experts and managers to promote teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates nursing strategies like hourly rounds to improve engagement.
• Recommends and implements actions for staff development, performance reviews and policy compliance.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs.
• Manages inventories and supplies to support care delivery.
