• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and promotes best practices.
• Evaluates patient and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively, provides feedback, and delegates as appropriate.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and supports unbiased patient care.
• Delegates appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed staff; documents accurately in EHR.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
