Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis is seeking a Data Scientist to advance ML-driven diagnostic analytics for MRD detection and clinical flow cytometry interpretation.

You will build scalable pipelines, work with clinical faculty, and contribute to reproducible, validated methods for high-dimensional data. Responsibilities include developing and validating ML workflows, collaborating on interdisciplinary projects, and supporting publication and translational research efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant experience in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or computational science; or Master's/PhD with relevant experience.
• Strong programming and scripting abilities (R, Python, etc.) and experience with ML methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis and develop ML approaches for clinical flow cytometry analysis.
• Design, validate, and maintain ML pipelines for MRD detection and flow cytometry.
• Collaborate with clinical faculty and laboratory scientists to translate questions into computational solutions.
• Document methods, results, and quality assurance procedures; contribute to publications.
