Job summary

Archway Transitional Care in Macon, GA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant who administers physician-ordered medications and supports residents daily. This role requires GA CNA and CMA credentials, strong organizational skills, and compassionate communication; you’ll work with a dedicated team to provide high-quality care in a non-profit setting with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Nursing Aide in Georgia.
Certified Medication Aide in Georgia.

Responsibilities

Administer physician ordered oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal and rectal medications.
Administer insulin, epinephrine, and B12 pursuant to physician direction and clinical guidelines.
Document medication administration and/or declination following established clinical guidelines.
Report and document in the resident’s record any unusual reaction to medication and provide to resident, their family and the health care provider.
Properly store and dispose of medications.
