Job summary

CarePoint Response, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Medical Manager to provide clinical leadership for ASAM Level 3.7 Withdrawal Management, Substance Use Disorder treatment, and Crisis Stabilization Residential programs.

You will work with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, integrated care. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and staff mentorship.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland.
• Current Maryland license required.
• Extensive experience in community-based behavioral health or crisis services.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation and medication management skills.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for withdrawal management, substance use treatment, psychiatric stabilization, and somatic healthcare.
• Conduct medical assessments, admissions, and discharge decisions.
• Oversee medication management including MOUD and psychiatric treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment and stabilization plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care.
