Qualifications

• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for coding.
• Applies ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines to assign and sequence codes.
• Ensures correct coding and proper billing sequence for professional fees.
• Keeps current with ICD-10-CM, CPT-4 changes and coding updates.
• Completes required documentation and productivity reports.
