Job summary

CALRegional is seeking a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Skills Assistant in Santa Rosa, CA. The role focuses on aiding student learning and lab activities while delivering engaging instruction with a passion for healthcare education.

The position requires 1 year of MA experience, familiarity with clinical procedures, and CPR certification. The schedule runs Tue/Thu 1:00pm-5:00pm, offering flexible day/evening options and potential growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field required.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back office procedures: EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound care.
• Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
• Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
• Current CPR certification.
