Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program; preferred.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients from waiting room and escorts to exam room.
• Records intake information in the patient medical record and other dept data.
• Records critical lab values and reports pertinent information to the provider.
• Prepares with setup and cleanup of procedures; maintains aseptic techniques.
• Performs administrative duties and supports patient education with the provider.
• Assists with supply management and room restocking to par level.
• Assists with daily cleaning of exam rooms and clinic areas.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
