Job summary

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vitals, basic lab procedures, and assisting with physician/APP procedures, ensuring smooth clinic flow and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a GED or HS equivalency diploma.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience within the last 5 years.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams, obtain vital signs, and document health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physicians/APPs with procedures (e.g., pelvic exams, allergy testing) as instructed.
• Administer routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
• Coordinate care with nurses and physicians to ensure smooth clinic flow and accurate patient communication.
• Perform basic clinical support tasks under supervision as needed.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care and document patient information per department policies.
