Atrium Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in a Winston-Salem practice. The role requires assisting physicians/APPs, performing routine lab and exam tasks, and maintaining accurate health information and patient flow.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program and current BLS certification. Prior MA experience is preferred, with capacity to lift up to 35 pounds and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
Proficient computer skills and EMR experience.
Customer service oriented with positive patient interactions.
Ability to perform routine and advanced clinical tasks under supervision.

Responsabilités

Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, records vital signs and health information.
Performs basic clinical procedures and specimen collection per protocol.
Assists physicians and APP with procedures and patient care activities.
Administers routine medications under approved orders or standing protocols.
Ensures smooth clinic flow, communicates with care team and patients.
Maintains compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.
