Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHCCC) seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams at our CA sites.

The MA will perform non-professional clinical duties, operate equipment, and assist with patient care including immunizations, vitals, and clerical support. Under supervision of the Health Center Manager and CSS, the MA will ensure efficient workflow, accurate documentation in EMR, and adherence to HIPAA and safety policies.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited MA program; CMA/RMA CA cert or eligible.
• Minimum 1 year medical assisting experience; EKG, vitals, venipuncture preferred.

Aufgaben

• Actively participates in Patient Care Team duties.
• Provides quality service using AIDET standards.
• Administers medications per Provider orders; document in EMR.
• Performs vitals, immunizations, screenings, and in-house CLIA tests.
• Greet patients, assist in exam rooms, monitor waiting areas.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate charting.
