Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MA vocational training or 2 years MA experience in clinical medical office.
• BLS certification or obtain during Orientation and prior to reporting to department.
• TB certification or obtain next available class upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain examination rooms and back office area and interact with patients.
• Obtain clinical history and perform tests as directed by practitioner.
• Ensure completeness of ordered procedures and treatments and smooth patient flow.
• Perform general lab work as needed and administer injections.
• Instruct patients concerning procedures and needs; ensure medical orders and referrals are carried out.
• Register and schedule activities per procedures; maintain EMR files and front office duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
