Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Recognized/certified CMA, MOA or RMA preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Basic medical terminology understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician with patient care and examinations.
• Performs patient triage at office visits.
• Documents and maintains medical records.
• Schedules appointments and assists with referrals.
• Take vital signs and clinical measurements.
• Assists with wound care and post-op care.
• Manage patient inquiries and prescription refills as needed.
• Monitor inventory and stock medical supplies and equipment.
• Prepare rooms and communicate with staff for efficient care.
• Take X-rays and handle X-ray chemicals.
• Sterilize equipment via autoclave and maintain clean environment.
