Job summary

You will collect CLIA-waived lab specimens, assist providers during exams, and help with patient prep and pre-visit planning. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for coordinating referrals and follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Interview and record patient history and vitals.
• Enter patient demographics and insurance data into EHR/EPM.
• Assist with patient flow and coordinate care with providers.

Responsibilities

• Interview patient and obtain history; record vital signs.
• Verify patient information and complete intake in EHR/EPM.
• Greet patients and answer phones professionally.
• Collect and document CLIA waived lab tests (urine dip, pregnancy tests, glucose, strep, flu).
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, stool, sputum) and prepare for testing.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures; prepare rooms and instruments.
• Prepare patients for visits and complete pre-visit planning.
• Administer medications per formulary and Standing Delegation Orders.
• Dismiss patients and document orders and plans.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and mandatory meetings.
• Collaborate with team to coordinate care and scheduling.
