Responsibilities

• Obtains health data, performs routine vitals, basic lab tests and prepares patient records for provider review.
• Obtains authorizations for specialist visits and documents data in the system; facilitates medical necessity discussions with insurers.
• Performs reception duties and processes patient demographics and payments; operates office equipment and supports office manager.
• May float to other areas as needed to support busy clinical operations.
