Tufts Medicine is seeking an outpatient clinical assistant to support patient flow, care coordination, and clerical duties in a fast-paced clinic. Under supervision, you will gather vitals, prep rooms, and assist providers with examinations and specimen collection while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Strong organizational skills, ability to navigate the EMR (Epic), and excellent communication are essential. Prior medical office experience and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Clinical Program or six months clinical healthcare experience.
• Basic Life Support certification or obtain within three months.

Responsabilités

• Controls and monitors patient flow to maximize provider and exam room utilization.
• Prepares medical records for patient visits and confirms patient identifiers and chief complaint data.
• Delivers high-quality customer service and ensures a safe, comfortable environment for patients and families.
• Assists providers with exams, treatments, and procedures as needed and collects specimens when required.
• Documents vitals, medications, and referrals in the EMR and assists with referrals and prior authorizations.
