Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Non-Certified Medical Assistant to provide basic clinical and administrative support under supervision. You will assist with patient care, manage office tasks, and maintain a welcoming clinic environment to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The anticipated hourly range is $18.77/hr to $25.34/hr; final compensation depends on experience, skills, and qualifications. Prior clinical experience is required for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program preferred.
• BLS or CPR certification with renewal within 3 months grace period for staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with routine patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms by cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Record patient information such as vital signs and medical histories.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the patient flow.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking and ordering supplies.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
• Obtain prior authorizations and assist cross-department coordination.
