Tufts Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for an outpatient clinic in Reading, MA. This full-time role (40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, day shift) focuses on patient flow, vital signs, room setup, and administrative support to enhance the patient experience.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant certification, and BLS; two years of MA experience is preferred. EMR experience and bilingual ability are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Controls and monitors patient flow to maximize efficient use of providers and exam rooms.
• Prepares medical records for patient visits and confirms data accuracy.
• Provides high-level customer service in all patient interactions.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment for patients and families.
• Assists providers with exams and procedures as needed.
• Performs vital signs and records patient information.
• Collects specimens and prepares supplies for procedures.
• Performs Point of Care Testing as ordered.
