Job summary

Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in our onsite Medical Center. You will perform initial patient assessments, vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and injections, while keeping treatment rooms stocked and clean.

Requirements include 1 year of clinical medical experience, CPR certification, and current Medical Assistant certification. We offer comprehensive benefits, education assistance, 401(k) with match, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of medical clinical skills.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with computers.
• Ability to perform essential functions consistently with minimal supervision.
• Current and active Medical Assistant certification (CPR included).

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient assessments; vitals; patient history; EKGs; phlebotomy; injections.
• Manages stocking of treatment rooms and ensures their cleanliness.
• Partners with lab facilities to ensure EHMG policies and OSHA guidelines.
