Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Medical Assistant certification within six months of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required at start or within six months of employment.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assures efficient patient flow through the site; escorts patients, records vitals, updates patient information, and maintains exam rooms.
• Assists practitioner with procedures such as ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, and CLIA-waived testing.
• Prepares and stocks exam rooms, maintains inventory, and adheres to safety and cleaning protocols.
• Acts as part of the patient care team, communicates with patients and care team, and supports care coordination.
• Performs delegated duties and other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
