Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare teams with clinical and non-clinical patient services under supervision.
• Show patients to examination rooms and interview patients to obtain medical information and vital signs.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physician instructions to patients; organize educational materials.
• Perform general office duties and act as liaison with other departments to support patient care.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other specimens and prepare for testing; demonstrate phlebotomy competence.
• Maintain immunization inventory and ensure expiration dates; provide immunizations where applicable.
• Contribute to quality initiatives such as patient identifiers and hand hygiene.
