Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certificate or diploma required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in primary/urgent care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for exams.
• Pre-visit planning and chart preparation.
• Assist clinical procedures as directed by providers.
• Perform QC checks on equipment and sterilize with autoclave.
• Stock exam rooms and manage medical supplies.
• Schedule patient appointments and reschedules.
• Process medication refills and prior authorizations.
• Handle inbox and patient calls with timely responses.
• Scan documents into the EMR and manage forms.
