Job summary

Rancho Health in Ventura, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support both clinical and administrative tasks. You will room patients, prepare charts, assist with procedures, perform QC and sterilize instruments, and help manage medical supplies.

You may float to different sites as needed, bilingual Spanish preferred, and you will use our EMR system to document care, schedule follow-ups, and handle referrals. A high school diploma and MA certificate are required; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for exams.
• Assist with clinical procedures as directed by providers.
• Perform QC checks on equipment and processes.
• Sterilize instruments using an autoclave.
• Stock and manage medical supplies and inventory.
• Manage patient check-out tasks and follow-ups.
