Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and a Medical Assistant diploma/certificate.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred to assist diverse patient populations.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for exams.
• Pre-visit planning and chart preparation.
• Assist with clinical procedures as directed by providers.
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and processes.
• Operate autoclave for sterilization of instruments.
• Stock and manage medical supplies and exam rooms.
• Track inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Execute standing orders and support triage.
• Assist with patient forms and ensure timely documentation.
• Conduct check-out duties, schedule follow-ups, provide documentation.
• Float to different sites as needed.
• Profile handling and routing of documents and fax inbox.
