Augusta University seeks a skilled nursing support specialist to provide HIV-related primary care and specialized services within the AU Ryan White Program. The role coordinates care, assists clinicians, and ensures accurate documentation in the medical record.

You will perform triage, vaccinations, lab processing, and patient education, while supporting administrative tasks and interdepartmental communication. A commitment to confidentiality and quality care is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with minimum 2 years of admin/clinical support in outpatient setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
• Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Triage patients, take vitals, and prep for exams/procedures.
• Attend clinic and intake to provide skilled care.
• Coordinate referrals for medical/diagnostic services.
• Educate patients and monitor treatment adherence.
• Enter clinical data into the EMR and maintain documentation.
• Assist with reception desk duties and scheduling.
• Ensure patients meet HAB measures.
• Complete required education and ongoing training.
• All other related duties/tasks as assigned.
