Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology helpful; clinical and lab skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare for exams.
• Perform CLIA waived testing and specimen collection.
• Complete clinical tasks to promote efficient workflow.
• Follow infection control policies and procedures.
• Deliver injections and medications safely.
• Report to scheduled sites and shifts as required.
• Engage in training and supervision offered.
