Job summary

Clearway Pain Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care, perform intake and provider order entry in the EMR, and support clinical operations. You will ensure patient flow, accuracy of records, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail, with responsibilities across patient education, equipment handling, and specimen processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Internet and MS Office software.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including customer service.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible schedule and multi-tasking.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare field and medical terminology.
• Commitment to professional conduct and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient intake and provider orders into the EMR.
• Request medical records and verify patient information.
• Take and record vital signs; assist with exams as needed.
• Maintain examination rooms and clinical areas.
• Instruct patients and provide educational materials.
• Process specimens and manage lab records as required.
• Obtain prior authorizations for radiology and prescriptions as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control standards.
